I’ve been following you guys for a while on Instagram and this is my first time here - I decided this month that I’m gonna get myself back into art.

This is my time to clean my brushes and show up for my creativity.
Retrospective
Question: What is the connected line through your work?
Reflection: Perhaps it is all over the place and that is okay! This week, we talked about retrospectives of artists at museums and how cool it is to see their work take different forms.
Reflect: Think about the through line through your art (even from 5-10 years ago).
Clean Your Brushes
Question: What material in your art studio is seeking a clean-up?
Reflection: Cleaning your materials is a great way to show love, appreciation, and care to your art items. I love how a lounger joined The Lounge to be accountable to JUST clean their brushes.
Clean: Dust off, wipe, organize, care for your materials this week.
Small Steps
Question: Do you ever feel overwhelmed with so many projects or you’re coming out of a difficult time & don’t know where to start?
Reflection: This week, a lounger shared about their goal of painting for 30 mins a day with no expectation but to just put brush to canvas.
Create: Pen to paper, brush to canvas, glue stick to notebook, finger to typewriter … spend a few minutes this week creating for the sake of showing up.
